Even in trials and tribulations, our suffering develops perseverance. The ability to endure is what it takes to persevere in the making of a man who is safe, sober, healthy, and honest. Put on the armor of God and march forward to a transformed heart and mind. Don’t give into the messages the evil one wants you to believe, “This work is too hard, I can’t change, I can’t be what she needs me to be, I am not enough.” Your new reality is to walk in victory; walking in any other direction will only bring a new set of problems. Your new reality is today you say, “No, not today.”
“Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that the suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:3-5)
